James Levinson has been a jewelry professional since 1969 having studied at the G.I.A. after graduating from college.

In 1973 he established James Levinson, Inc. in New York City. He has been successfully guiding clients with purchases ever since, not only in New York City, but around the world. Jim has a great eye for unique pieces and high quality bridal jewelry. Through the years he has helped many clients build collections of both unusual items and every day wearable pieces.

Adam Levinson graduated from Syracuse University and received his MBA from the University of Illinois. He has studied at the G.I.A. and brings a fresh perspective and second generation to James Levinson, Inc. Adam has established a foothold in both Houston and Chicago.

Through the years we have helped many of our clients build collections of both unusual items and everyday wearable pieces.

We work closely with people looking for engagement rings, helping them to not only find the right stone and mounting, but to educate them as well. Since an engagement ring is often the most expensive purchase a young client makes, we feel that knowing what one is buying is important and we are happy to provide that information for prospective buyers.

JLI prides itself on personal service in a one on one setting. Prospective buyers will be able to spend as much time as they want learning everything they need to know so they will feel comfortable and confident about their purchase.

Another of our services is to help clients sell their unwanted jewelry and gold. We do this by outright purchase, consignment sale or trade in. We also design new items and redesign old pieces.
