Who We Are

Co-Founder and Owner, Justin Frye has spent the past 27 years building a knowledgeable and well-rounded career in the Machining/Manufacturing industry. He began at a young age, working as a CNC Machine Operator. He expanded his machining career by advancing to CNC Machine Setup, then programming, eventually becoming a shop manager. Before co-founding J&J Precision Machining, he spent the last 13 years of his career in the cutting tool industry working for Iscar Metals Inc. where he was called upon to advise on difficult technical applications and was responsible for recommending machining techniques, as well as new tooling, to improve production times and efficiency, thus delivering cost-saving procedures and quality manufacturing abilities. This has earned him a respected reputation that is further enhanced by his all-around knowledge of the machining industries and troubleshooting capabilities.

Co-Founder and Owner Jeremy Makings has been involved in the oilfield service industry for the past 15 years. In 2003, he helped to start a new business, Polymer Services. His hard work and dedication helped to build Polymer Services to their peak. In 2012, they reached 14 employees, four servicing units and $12,000,000.00 in gross revenue. During this time, aside from serving as the Vice-President and Field Supervisor, he also served as the company’s DOT Compliance Officer and their Safety Officer. He was also responsible for designing and building complex, multi-million dollar oilfield servicing equipment. Jeremy’s experience and knowledge of business expansion, equipment purchasing, office/business management, and organizational skills needed to successfully grow a company at a sustainable rate is invaluable to J&J Precision Machining’s future.
