Irons and Metals Sainz, SL . is a company located in the Basque Country that has more than fifty years of experience. It was founded in 1958 by the industrialist Carmelo Sainz, and today it belongs entirely to the Orbea group . The facilities have a surface area of ​​13,000 m2 and 16 employees on staff ready to offer you their experience and professionalism in the sector.

Dedicated to the recycling and commercialization of ferrous and non-ferrous waste , it has obtained the authorization of non-hazardous waste manager from the Basque Government EUX/008/04 as well as the authorization of carriers "EUT/033/05 ", granted in 2005 .

Aware of the environmental impact of its activity (collection, transport, storage and recovery of scrap), it has opted for the implementation of an integrated quality and environmental management system according to the UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015 standard (implemented) and UNE EN ISO 9001:2015 (in the process of implementation).

Since 2008, it has had a photovoltaic solar installation on the roof of the main pavilion with a nominal power of 80 kW, in order to produce energy in an environmentally friendly manner. Approximately 100,000 Kw/year are generated .
