History of Iracore

Early in our history, we assembled a talented team of chemists, engineers, technicians and consultants to design a urethane-based compound expressly for lining pipe. The result: Iracore International was one of the first companies to produce urethane lined pipe more than four decades ago.

1957

Industrial Rubber Applicators begins operations providing custom rubber lining services for the northern Minnesota iron ore mines.

1972

Irathane Systems begins operations providing urethane solutions globally to mining and other heavy industrial markets.

1996

Industrial Rubbers Applicators opened a second facility in Clearfield, Utah, for the Kennecott expansion manufacturing 200,000 feet of lined pipe.

2000

Development of Iracore, a patented lined pipe system, for the Alberta oil sands industry begins.

2006

Iracore opens a new manufacturing facility in Hibbing, Minnesota, in addition to the existing facilities of Industrial Rubber Applicators and Irathane Systems

2018

Iracore facility expands to meet the growing needs of the oil sands industry.
