HRS Metallco AS is owned 50.1% by HRS IKS and 49.9% by Metallco AS . The company's business office is in Harstad.

HRS Metallco AS is a leader in Northern Norway in the sale, processing and recycling of scrap iron and metals. The company is established with reception and treatment facilities in Harstad (Stangnes Miljøpark) and Tromsø (Skattøra, Ringveien 88), and is a well-established player in the reception and environmental remediation of vehicles and machinery.

We are owned by two large recycling groups, Hålogaland Ressursselskap IKS within waste reception and recycling and Metallco AS, which is Norway's leading player in the recycling of iron and metals. As part of HRS and Metallco, we are able to offer complete waste solutions and nationwide contracts within scrap iron and metals.

The company buys and sells all types of iron, metals and cables for recycling purposes. This can be delivered directly to our facilities or we can agree to pick it up at the location. On request, we can also undertake assignments for chopping / demolition / dismantling of iron / metal structures, cranes, transformers and tank facilities. HRS Metallco is an approved reception / wreck site for car wrecks associated with the wreck deposit scheme, including caravans, motorhomes, trucks and buses, etc.   

HRS Metallco is also a member of the Norwegian Return Metal Association , which is an interest organization for Norwegian companies engaged in steel and metal recycling.
