GRR have been around for many years, long before the recent WEEE regulations were being enforced.

We are proud to work with Hertfordshire council for many years in the recycling of their electrical waste and have been privileged in attaining some of the highest recycling figures in the running of their household waste sites under our management (attaining in excess of 80% recycling!).

GRR operated originally as a family business, and in a sense we still are; we have many employees who have been with us for more than a decade and many more that are catching up with them. We believe in the art of a job well done and stake our reputation to that, and are growing because of it.

Our Aim is simply to grow, profit and help the environment through that. It was an idealist's industry when we started, to stop landfill becoming contaminated with electrical waste, and the laws changed to reflect our opinion years after we started, and we continue that ideal and improve our methods constantly to do so.

WEEE Collections

Green Resource Recycling (GRR) Ltd offer a free WEEE collection service for most waste electrical items. Whenever possible, we will collect your waste electrical items totally free of charge, use our book a free collection button, GRR will then contact you to inform you if there is any charge or the collection is free. You are under no obligation until you confirm the booking.

Lead Acid Battery Collection

Lead Acid batteries collection. These batteries are easily identified as they should carry a sticker with the 'Pb' symbol, indicating the battery is the lead acid type. These batteries must be handled with great care as they contain sulfuric acid and have to be stored in a special container, Green Resource Recycling (GRR) Ltd can supply this for you.
