Great Central Steel Co. was founded in 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. For the last 30 years we have operated out of our warehouse in Bridgeview, Illinois.
We specialize in Cold Finished and Hot Rolled steel bars. We carry rounds and hexes from 1/8" up to 12" diameter. We stock most carbon grades (1117, 1144, 1018, 1045, 1215, 12L14, etc) and some alloys (8620, 4140, etc).
Our pricing is well below standard mill and warehouse prices because most of our inventory is manufacturer's surplus. We unconditionally guarantee your satisfaction with our products.
