Glen Miller, Jim Sage and Will Adams founded Gold Medal Environmental after completing the acquisitions of a Philadelphia collection company and Gold Medal Disposal.  Gold Medal Environmental has since acquired several hauling companies and a highly strategic materials recovery facility (“MRF”).  These acquisitions have collectively transformed the Company to become the fastest growing and among the largest independent providers of non-hazardous solid waste management services including collection, disposal and recycling operations in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware.  Gold Medal’s MRF is 75,000 square feet situated on nine acres, and is one of the largest MRFs in the Philadelphia market.

Through municipal contracts, Gold Medal offers a complete range of integrated services to thousands of residences. In addition, the company serves institutional commercial and industrial locations.  The Company currently services more than 3,200 commercial and roll-off accounts and 60,000 residential stops with its 45 front line collection vehicles.

Gold Medal offers commercial collection and disposal service 24 hours a day and seven days a week.  With high profile accounts including the Reading Terminal Market and Ocean City, customer service is paramount and the Company routinely fulfills its corporate tenet “Whatever It Takes.”
