Tim began the trash business in the Brattleboro area in 1977 with 1 pick-up truck fashioned with sideboards and about 30 customers. Many of the original 30 customers remain with Franklin & Son today. We offer a courteous & friendly service that is unsurpassed in the waste industry. Our reputation is built on competitive prices and excellent personal service that is responsive, efficient and flexible-something you don't see very often in today's world. We understand that without our loyal customers we don't exist. We want your repeat business and to attain that we realize that we must be the best at what we do. Franklin & Son has grown tremendously and now includes , Cheryl, in the office and their son, Nicholas (Nick) who has worked with Tim since he was in elementary school. Franklin & Son has 1 to 6 yard dumpsters as well as 10, 12, and 15-yard roll-off boxes. We also have four rear load compactor trucks, a hook truck for the roll-off boxes, two recycling trucks, and two 4x4 pick-ups used for recycling as well as during mud season when many Vermont roads are restricted to certain weight limits.
