Fortuna has increased production by optimizing the Caylloma silver-polymetallic mine in Peru, improving mill throughput to 1,430 tpd from 1,300 tpd in March 2016. At the San Jose silver-gold mine in Mexico, an expansion to 3,000 tpd from 2,000 tpd was commissioned on time and under budget in July 2016.Fortuna acquired the open pit, heap leach Lindero gold project in Argentina in July 2016.
