Their goal is to provide simple and cost-effective recycling of universal wastes. This includes fluorescent lamps, compact fluorescents (CFLs), high-intensity discharge (HIDs), batteries, lighting ballasts, e-waste, smoke detectors and and other mercury containing devices (such as thermometers and blood pressure cuffs).
