The company Fischer-Plastik was founded in 1960 by Mrs. Maria Fischer.
In our company in St. Martin near Linz, bags made of polyethylene (polyethylene) were mainly produced semi-automatically. In the pioneering days of PE packaging, plastic bags were still delivered in boxes of 50 or 100, as this packaging material was very valuable.
The material polyethylene quickly developed into one of the most important raw materials for film products, which are used in almost every industry. The expanding production required larger premises. In 1980 our company moved to Allhaming, where a new production building was built. Today, foils and tubes made of PE are extruded, printed and assembled.
Fischer-Plastik, a family company with 50 years of experience in plastics processing, run in the third generation by Harald Fischer, currently employs 41 people.
Production - quality and customer proximity
We see ourselves as a packaging manufacturer who does not “just” produce packaging, but uses the versatility of the material PE to provide our customers with the packaging that is right for them - printed or colored in any desired size and according to customer requirements. We have perfected the film technology. And together with you we work on product developments and also design custom-made products.
Our customer structure is correspondingly broad, ranging from industry to trade and commerce to the end consumer. A large part of our production is made up of industrial films and sacks, from screw bags to pallet shrink hoods, from printed carrier bags to protective blankets.
