The company Fegert Recycling GmbH was founded in 1991.

In 1998 the Magdeburg Glindenbergerweg branch was founded with a direct connection to the Magdeburg waterway intersection.

ESM Schrott- und Metallhandel GmbH with its locations in Schönebeck and Gatersleben has been an integral part of our company since October 2005 .

In June 2008 a change of shareholders took place, the entire Fegert Group thus became a subsidiary of Scholz Recycling GmbH.

On the basis of a merger agreement, ESM Schrott- und Metallhandel GmbH was transferred to Fegert Recycling GmbH on May 4th, 2017 .
