Alcast Company Midwest Works LLC (Formerly Fairfield Aluminum Casting Company or FALCO) started out with a 5,000 square foot foundry in 1946 and has grown to a 200,000 square foot full service operation today. Since our founding, we have invested in steady, planned growth in the services we offer to you - our customer. Every growth phase included an expansion of our facility, equipment and qualified personnel, in order to provide you with improved products and services.

In an early effort to improve our quality assurance, we began to acquire innovative testing equipment and facilities and our dedication to quality has continued to define our aluminum foundry in the industry.

Providing the option of fully machined castings and a complete sand system became key to our services, as we responded to our customers' more diversified needs.

Additional facility expansions have increased our capabilities allowing us to produce larger and more complex projects for design and production.

Alcast Company Midwest Works LLC has two facilities centrally located in which to serve you. Both facilities span over 100,000 sq. ft. each, employing over 150. Our Fairfield, Iowa building houses our core making, molding, and machining operations. Our Clarence, Missouri building houses our secondary operations such as assembly, trim, and heat treat.

On August 28th 2017, Fairfield Aluminum Casting Company (FALCO) was purchased by Alcast Company, a permanent mold aluminum foundry in Peoria IL, and Aluminum Castings Company, an aluminum sand foundry in Galesburg IL. Operations will remain unchanged at the former FALCO, but the customers of all three companies will now have a wider range of options for all their aluminum casting needs!
