Our history moves us forward

Elance Steel was founded by Jim Baier and Rick Libke in 1979 and they are still with the company today. Their collective goal was to produce structural steel and miscellaneous metals at a fair price. As their customer base rapidly grew, Jim and Rick hired design technicians, specialized engineers and contractors that gave Elance an immediate edge over the competition. With this wide range of services available under one roof, the Elance customer could now benefit from spending less time coordinating individual contractors and more time focusing on the success of their finished project.

Over the years, Elance Steel has helped shape the landscape of the prairies with major projects in Saskatoon, Regina, Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Yorkton and beyond. We are a proud Saskatchewan company and honoured to support local businesses and communities. We love what we do and we do it well.
