The Ekombud company was established in 1991. Since 2014, it has been operating within the EKOMBUD capital group, which includes two companies - EKOMBUD Sp. z o. o. deals with the production of containers and waste management, and the second - EKOMBUD Sp. j., focuses its activities on waste management. The company currently employs over 70 people.

The seat of Ekombud at ul. Krzyżanowicka, near the Bochnia Economic Activity Zone, is an example of a modern and ecological approach to municipal waste management. The newly created investment is fully environmentally friendly and safe for the residents. All processes related to segregating or reloading waste take place in closed rooms. Additionally, no waste is stored outside on the square. Ekombud focuses on innovation and modernity in its activities. Therefore, we will use an automated line with optical separators to divide secondary raw materials. Thanks to the use of such a solution, it will be possible to precisely separate various types of waste, such as metal cans from plastic bottles.

Properly segregated waste is transported from our plant to the so-called recyclers, i.e. recycling plants. Thanks to recycling processes, we make a real contribution to the protection of natural resources and the environment, and to saving money.

As part of municipal waste management, Ekombud also collects mixed waste from the residents of Bochnia and nearby municipalities. The waste brought to the company is only and exclusively reloaded to closed containers and transported outside Bochnia on an ongoing basis.
