Eco Rubbish Clearance is a family run business set up by Martin Harris, who after graduating from university with an environmental science degree, found himself struggling to find work.

One morning while watching the neighbours junk being collected by a couple of scruffy characters in an old battered van, he recognised a possible business idea.

His idea was to clean up the image of rubbish clearance and junk removal with fantastic customer service and uniformed staff, while also making it green and eco friendly.

Since it's launch in July 2007 Eco Rubbish Clearance has grown rapidly. In 2011 Martin enticed his two brothers Simon and Rohan to quit their corporate jobs and join him. “I wanted my brothers involved so I had a true family business. They both bring their own unique skills to the company,” Martin says.

In the beginning Martin developed a real understanding of the demands of the market place and recognised early the key factors important to his clients. “Customers want to deal with professionals who understand that their time is valuable. They also want to do their bit for the environment. We differentiated ourselves by being on time, with a strong customer focus, a friendly service and 100% recycling rates” Martin states.
