E-waste Arcades is committed to promoting the reuse of raw materials and creating awareness about electronic waste. By making recycling fun and easy, we want to bridge the gap between the consumer and the recycler. Have you ever considered how many electronic products we use every day? Have you ever wondered where all the necessary raw materials for these products come from? Or have you ever considered what happens to our appliances when they are discarded? Everyone knows it, you still have some old electronics lying around. An old phone call, broken DVD player or an alarm clock, for example. Yet it is always a problem to dispose of these electronic devices, also known as e-waste. It stays in the attic forever or ends up with the residual waste. Sin! For example, all raw materials are lost or cannot be used for reuse. And that while important raw materials are threatened with extinction! In Europe only one third of electronic waste is recycled. That must be better! That could be better! We want to make a difference by making recycling more fun and easier, while increasing consumer awareness. This way, valuable raw materials can be reused and we burden our environment a lot less!
