DHT stands for Dutch Hardware Trading

Under the name Dutch Hardware Trading BV, we started the first refurbishment activities together with our parent company Holland Recycling in 2015. The reason? A great deal of depreciated IT hardware is still being recycled without first looking at whether there are possibilities for reuse. The Circular Economy now “forces” us to look beyond recycling alone. A beautiful, good and above all sustainable development. Our sustainable and socially responsible way of doing business has not gone unnoticed. In November 2018, Dutch Hardware Trading won the Boxtelse Ondernemers Trophy (BOT).

Corporate Social Responsibility fits perfectly into the “Circularity and sustainability” list. We therefore work with employees who are lagging behind in the regular labor market. These committed employees are trained within our organization to become refurbishment specialists. Each with his or her own tasks and responsibilities.

Specialists in ITAD (IT Asset Disposition)

For our flexible organization, with committed employees, the work starts at your location. This can be done by collecting your IT materials, but also by removing equipment directly from workplaces and server rooms. Upon arrival at one of our two refurbishment locations in Boxtel, all hardware is registered, tested and released from customer identifiable data. The data carriers are then removed. These are also registered. Our customer receives the registration of the data carriers together with the complete report and data destruction statement.

Maximum yield for your depreciated hardware

We pay the maximum value for discarded IT supplies such as end-of-use, warranty and commercial returns. We always check whether there are possibilities to give a product a second life. You can think of telecom, computers, servers, laptops, printers, hard drives and monitors. Dutch Hardware Trading works for healthcare institutions, schools, universities and medium-sized to large companies / multinationals.
