OUR HISTORY

In 1965, when founded by Lloyd J. Kirtland, DK Trading Corporation began its operation as a paper broker, buying and selling paper stock in the Northeastern United States.

In 1969 David L. Kirtland, entered the family business and increased the scope of the business to include all types of paper products. Handling approximately 4,000 tons of paper per month, DK Trading recognized a potential for increased business and entered the international market by opening an office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1987.

DK Trading Corporation was purchased in 2021 by Justin Sulla. Today, it is one of the leading independently owned paper brokers in the United States, buying and selling approximately 30,000 tons of various grades of paper per month throughout the world.
