About Company

We specialize in the proper disposal of obsolete or excess computer and electronic equipment such as mainframes, circuitboards, CPUs and telecommunication and electrical equipment.. CCRI has years of experience in the proper handling and disposal of e-waste. We make it easy for consumers and businesses to manage their electronic waste in an environmentally responsible manner. We guarantee compliance with all local, state and federal regulations pertaining to the recycling and disposal of the computer and electronic waste it processes. We work with the public and with local and national businesses to ensure that NO hazardous computer or electronic waste reaches America's landfills.Crown Computer Recycling buys newer model computers and other electronic items for resale or recycles components to keep them and their toxins out of landfills.  Our staff (currently 100% military veterans) are experts at dis-assembly and finding new uses for parts of computers, hubs and switches. Our greatest concern is your security.  We destroy all stored data and sanitize hard drives, ensuring all data is eliminated.  We provide this service free of charge. We accept computers and equipment for recycling at our plant, conveniently located at 520 Bragato Road, San Carlos, CA 94070.  Our truck picks up for volume recycling, usually 20 units or more

Laptop recycling – Broken or outdated laptop computers are disassembled with components either made available to hobbyists or scrapped for material. Hard drives have all data stripped then sanitized before disposal. Personal computer (PC) recycling – Once the hard drives are destroyed cabinets, wiring and other parts can be reused or re-purposed. Damaged or woefully out of date components are recycled to build new equipment. computer recycling is greenHard drives are stripped and sanitized before disposal. Server recycling – Server recycling begins by disassembling power units, circuit boards, cables, hard drives, processors, mother boards and aluminum casings. Plastic, alloy and glass items are separated. Residual data is stripped and hard drives are sanitized before disposal. Mainframe recycling – We don’t see many mainframes any more but when we do, the process is similar to recycling servers (above). Hubs and switches – Practically all computing components and electronic equipment can be recycled. About half of hubs and switches can be reused and half torn down and materials recycled. Crown Computer Recycling does everything possible to keep this equipment out of landfills. Data deconstruction – Data deconstruction is critical to secure computer recycling. You are protected from your data appearing or being used elsewhere Crown Computer Recycling assures your data is stripped and hard drives sanitized. You are assured your data and equipment has been removed securely and responsibly.
