1989

A diversification of the Saur group

At the end of the 1980s, Saur, a specialist in the water industry, decided to embark on cleanliness and quickly invested in its firsts and created its dedicated subsidiary Collecte Valorisation Energie Déchets. The town of La Rochelle is the first to trust him.

1991 - 1994

Development

Coved obtained the management of the non-hazardous waste storage facility at Nurlu in 1991. In 1994, it opened the Loches, Moréac and Roussas I sites. In terms of household waste collection, it won emblematic contracts such as than Toulon where it will develop the night collection, Belle-Ile en Mer, Paris.

1995 - 2000

The multiplication of know-how

First contract at M.I.N. of Rungis, cleaning of roads in Paris or the Landes coast, management of the ISDND of Allan, of waste reception centers in Vénissieux, of the incineration plant of Gien ... Coved is increasing its scope and expertise. to do. The company is also innovating by offering side collection skips or the first awareness-raising operations in Bandol.

2001-2016

A recognized experience

With the development of recycling, Coved creates and is entrusted with the management of many sorting centers: Morteau, Ruitz, Villeneuve-les-Béziers, La Riche ... At the same time, the company continues its expansion in the collection market with the cities of Rouen, Honfleur, Royan, Salons de Provence. The period also saw many novelties for Coved: first certifications including in particular all the ISDND activity, first presence at Pollutec, management of a composting unit in Dunkirk or even de-graffiti missions in Paris and the establishment of the partnership with the French Tennis Federation for the yellow balls operation. Coved strengthens its position as a major player.

2016-2017

A new adventure

At the end of 2016, Paprec Group signed, with the SAUR group, an irrevocable purchase commitment for the company COVED. The competition authority issues a favorable opinion at the end of March for the acquisition by Paprec Group of the Coved group. The company integrates the French leader in recycling to create a national champion of the environmental sector. The beginning of a new era !
