CORTEX

CORTEX one of the largest yarn manufacturers in the world, started production in 1989 with the Taç yarn brand.

1989 Lurgi Project

After the completion of the construction and assembly processes of the enterprise with the Lurgi Project, production started under the Taç yarn brand on a total installed area of ​​21,440 m2.

1990

POY production from chips was commissioned and POY production started with a capacity of 18 tons/day.

1990

Emre Project

Within the scope of Emre Project, a polycondensation facility was established in the enterprise and it was put into production with a capacity of 65 tons/day. Later, the current capacity was developed and increased to 80 tons/day.

1997

The construction of MEG tanks at the enterprise has been completed. Tanks with a raw material capacity sufficient for 1 month's production allowed the dependence on suppliers to decrease.

1997

Berkun Project

The construction of the 2nd Operation Berkun Facility, which has a total installed area of ​​123 398 m2, has begun. The operation was put into operation in a short period of 27 months, 9 months machine assembly and 18 months construction.

1998

Polycondensation, POY and FDY units started production. Thus, KORTEKS became the world's largest capacity continuous polycondensation and direct melt fed POY-FDY production facility on a single line.

1998

1998 – 1999

Twisting and fixed boiler assembly was carried out in the facility. In addition to a closed area of ​​44,000 m2 and a capacity of 22,000 kg/day, the product range was increased from plain yarn to twisted (textured to twisted), snow yarn, kdk-lezzeni, shaggy, brode fancy yarn production.

2000

Muratec texturing machines installation has been completed. During the production of 110 tons/day, which is carried out in a total closed area of ​​50.000 m2, textured yarn is produced with machines that allow online process control system.

2001

The assembly of R&D / P&D pilot machines was completed in order to increase the diversity even more by adding new products to the product range. The machines in question enabled customers to respond quickly and in minimum quantities to sample requests, and to develop new yarns.

2002

Poy packaging automation assembly was carried out and the poy weights were increased to 20kg. In this way; It is aimed to minimize human errors, to increase customer satisfaction, to save time and to protect the quality of products with packaging made without human touch.

2002 - 2003

The assembly of AFK texturing machines was completed and commissioned. Like this; With machines that provide micro and super-micro production, metric production with automatic tooling command and have an online process control system during production, it has become possible to carry out production more efficiently and with zero error.

2006

2006-2009

In order to minimize human errors, to save time and to preserve the quality of the products with untouched packaging, the automation assembly of the texturized separate packaging was carried out by KORTEKS engineers.

2007

The monofilament separation and bobbin dyeing facility was completed in order to produce 20/1-30/1 denier fine yarn and to respond to the demands of the customers for bobbin dyed products and to save them from contract processing.

2008

In order to increase the variety of colors and reduce the dependency on paint suppliers in dyed products from raw materials with high fastness, the assembly of the Masterbatch production facility has been completed and work has begun.

2010

Colored production capacity has been increased for dyed products from raw materials.

2013

2013 - 2014

KORTEKS R&D center started to work.

2015

Installation of 35 new generation texturing machines started.

2015

R&D Center was established.

2017

New generation texturing machines were commissioned.

2021

The Polymer Recycling Facility, which was started to be assembled in 2020, started production with a circular economy-based, innovation-based new generation textile approach.
