It is part of our company DNA that we put our customers, community and families first, despite the challenges. The original partners of Commercial Battery Service, Ken Davidson and Paul Bobo, made this a priority in 1977, originally as Exide reps. They instilled those values in the current partners, Lance Owen and Jerry Bryant. They were already long-time employees when they acquired the company in 2016. Quality and timely service are mainstays of who we are. During the 1980s, when Walmart opened its first DC outside of Arkansas, Commercial Battery was there. We still service this facility today.

At our core, we are a small business with a big heart. We cover all of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana for motive power service. We cover the U.S. from coast to coast for our ice resurfacing customers.

As a manufacturer’s rep for Enersys Motive Power, we have been recognized in two of the last five years as Rep of the Year. In 2019, we added Green Energy (GECI) to our product line. In 2023, we became a Master Dealer with Imperial Batteries in order to offer a complete line of SLI (Starting, Lighting, Ignition) batteries. We are currently doubling the shop and warehouse space in Central Texas to improve the capabilities of our service facility. This, combined with a retail location, will allow us to better serve this growing area of Texas. Our longevity in the marketplace has allowed us to establish relationships with similarly minded service providers throughout the country when the need arises. We are privileged to be a trusted motive power service provider to many Fortune 500 firms, regionally recognized Texas based companies, the U.S. Army/Air Force and the greater Southwest.
