Lawrence Preston Coats founded Cleveland Jewelers in 1932 on the principles of service. For 80 years we have performed jewelry and watch repair on those same principles in which we still strive to accomplish today. Our service model has always placed the customer first. Coats Jewelers has always been a family owned business, now owned by Lawrence’s grandson, Bobby R. Coats Sr..

By his side are his two sons, Bobby Jr and Barry – both of whom have all been in the family business since the age of 16.  Today we are proud to say that we consider our clients more as friends than as customers. This is because of the relationship we have built over the last eight decades.
