Closed Loop Refining & Recovery, Inc. (CLRR) enters the electronic recycling market to process Cathode Ray Tubes (CRTs) with a new Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) glass recycling operation headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Our objective is to be the leading solution in the U.S. for all Domestic CRTs. As a recycler of CRT glass, CLRRs flagship center is set-up to recycle a maximum of 3,000 tons per month in the companies’ 120,000 square foot facility. By utilizing the latest Lead (Pb) Recovery and polishing technologies CLRR is positioned as a leader in the CRT recycling industry. At Closed Loop Refining & Recovery, Inc., our primary service is to process old CRT’s and sell the glass to designated commodity markets. Recycling old CRTs poses a serious problem for the environment due primarily to high levels of Lead (Pb) content. Lead (Pb) is a hazardous waste that if treated improperly may result in groundwater contamination and employee health and safety issues. The Companies new technology assures the North American e-waste recycling network that CRT glass can be managed economically and safely in North America.
