When items cannot be resold CIE ensures that all materials from metals to plastics are properly recycled. WHat cannot be recycled is incenerated at a waste to energy facility that uses those items to produce electricty.

CIE also ensures that data security is a large priority. Recently, CIE introduced CSHRED a proprietary mobile hard drive and other e-media shredding system. With the CSHRED technology CIE can perform high security on-site data destruction. The mobile unit integrates shredding with a full surveillance and inventory system. Before CSHRED leaves the customer has a full report of what has been destroyed. Optionally they can recieve a DVD of the entire process that shows each serial number as that unit is being destroyed.
