Central States Industrial Equipment and Service, Inc. (CSI) was established by Jim and Shirley Cook on July 1, 1977, in Jefferson City, MO. With a high degree of commitment to quality and customer service, Jim made "finished jobs" a hallmark of CSI.

In 1984 the Cooks relocated CSI to Springfield, MO, with four employees. Over the years, the business continued to grow by adding creative and skilled employees to help serve our customers.

Today, CSI has over 180 employees in five locations across the US. In addition to our 80,000 square-foot headquarters in Springfield, MO, CSI has distribution facilities in Fresno, CA; Durham, NC; Grand Prairie, TX; and Knoxville, TN.
