Curbside recycling collection is offered to all residents in the City of Shafter and surrounding areas. The collection service is intended to re-use/ re-cycle materials that are needlessly going into our landfills. A few items that are included are mixed paper, cardboard, plastics, and tin/aluminum cans.

Recycling just one steel tin can save enough energy and green house gases to produce the equivalent to powering up a television for 2 hours! Reduce, Reuse, Recycle….
