Carlson Steelworks offers a wide selection of in-stock materials including: steel, stainless steel and aluminum plate; pipe, tube, solid extrusions and rebar; pre-galvanized sheets / extrusions; and even a bit of copper and brass. If we do not have a material you are looking for in-stock, please ask! We can likely get it for you within a day or two!In addition to stock materials, we can also provide / install custom ornamental and chain link fencing and gates; and offer custom fabrication and powder coating services (through Mt. Baker Powder Coating located next door).If your project is too large to haul in your own vehicle - or you simply don't have the time - we can provide delivery utilizing one of our regular or flatbed trucks / trailers to deliver your project directly to your site!  

Carlson Steelworks was founded by Lowell Carlson in 1983. In 2000, after building the business and moving to the 2001 Grant Street location, his son Paul purchased the business. Paul further expanded Carlson and added a new fabrication shop in 2008. In 2011, Paul became a partner in Mt. Baker Powder Coating and built a new home for the business next door. Paul now is the 100% owner of Mt Baker Powder Coating.

MATERIALS:
Carlson Steelworks stocks a wide variety of steel and aluminum, in both shapes and sheets (i.e. smooth/diamond plate). In addition, we also stock welded wire mesh (concrete mesh and galvanized hog panels), expanded metal, bar grating and perforated sheets. We can also offer fast delivery on special order for items we do not keep in stock.

FABRICATION:
Carlson Steelworks can handle your fabrication needs, both small and large, including engineered structural components for buildings and industry all over Washington and Alaska. Our shop equipment includes both MIG and TIG welders and overhead cranes for easy loading and unloading.
