Cape Fear Mold & Tool & Co., Inc. is an industrial machining and manufacturing company founded in 1996. The company is family-owned and operated by Bob Rockwell and son Mike Rockwell with a combined 50 years of experience in the mold-building industry. Cape Fear Mold & Tool Co., Inc., was founded to service the growing plastic injection mold industry inSoutheast and began mainly repairing molds & dies. The company quickly moved into creating quick turnaround prototype molds and soon after into developing high quality production molds.

The original 6,000 square-foot facility, located in Wilmington, NC is a modern building housing the latest in mold creation and repair. Due to a shortage of space and more machining requirements, an additional 4,000 square feet was added. The additional space allowed for several new offices and machine purchases including a 3D printer. Our building, equipment, and staff are devoted to producing the highest quality product for our customers. We're proud of our high level of customer satisfaction.
