Our history originates in the Netherlands. We were first known as WOOLTEX and had found our roots through the efforts of our founders from there. Through their foresight to see a growing need in third world for used clothing and recycled materials. Both benefiting the environment and employing many individuals to support the local community.

With our now 30+ years of expertise and knowledge of the African and other country’s clothing markets Canadian Textile Recycling Limited is a leader in our industry. Our Managing Director and co-founder, Paul de Kort has taken the sorting process to new levels in our “state of the art” facility.

With the assistance of many, we’ve developed a 2 story sorting process which was constructed providing air conditioned area for the staff, and to increase output without sacrificing quality. Our system allows us to know the individual that sorts a specific grade making adjustments to quality a simple task. Guaranteeing that your goods are to the standard we have set for our clients.
