The Cameo Shop was established in 1948 by David Stentiford. His business was framing shell cameos for other stores which is how the name Cameo Shop came to be. In addition to framing cameos he specialized in custom made jewelry, antique jewelry restoration and conducted classes in jewelry making.

The Cameo Shop has evolved into a fine quality jewelry store, with special emphasis on custom-made jewelry and remounting. We have the latest CAD (computer aided design) program to show you what your new jewelry will look like before its made. A state of the art LASER welder, enabling us to repair jewelry, especially platinum, without heat that may endanger adjacent stones. We keep up with latest technologies making sure we will do the best possible job for you.
