Buchanan Oilfield Services LLC dba Buchanan Disposal Solutions was founded in 2017 by a Management Team with decades of Salt Water Disposal and Solids Waste Disposal experience. In January of 2018 the SWD facility at 5118 FM 1379 was brought into service and was quickly followed by our Reclamation (Sludge) Facility, 1 Acre Drying Pad, and first RRC Permitted Landfill Cell. Buchanan quickly grew its customer base and has become a preferred location for disposing of oilfield waste for the following reasons: 

1) A One Stop Shop for Disposal Needs – Trucks can dispose of waste, get a wash out, and fill up with fresh or brine water at a single location instead of driving all over the basin for those services.

2) Environmentally Conscious / Closed Loop System- The oilfield waste sent to our facility is treated and disposed of at a modern RRC approved facility with multiple geosynthetic liners, concrete containment, and leachate systems. The solids and water are separated, and Buchanan operates a clean water injection system.

3) Geographic Location – located ideally in Midland County many operators and trucking companies find the location to be central to their activity.

4) Quick Turn Around Times – Our job is to keep trucks moving. We pride ourselves on safely and efficiently turning trucks around and putting them back on the road to their next job.

5) Easy In & Out for Truckers – With a turn lane on 158 onto 1379 and signage on 1379 within a mile it is easy driving for truckers. A long driveway leading to the facility also keeps traffic well away from 1379.

6) Manned Facility – Having a manned facility allows the truck driver to take a quick coffee break in our Trucker’s Lounge while our dedicated employees perform the unloading of the truck.

7) Responsive Staff – Our dedicated sales and accounting staff provide easy access to decision makers that can resolve any issue that comes up.

Buchanan is exploring additional locations to add to our footprint and to better serve our customers operating in Texas and New Mexico. It is our goal to always be improving on the way we serve our customers, the Oil & Gas Industry, and our community here in Midland Texas.
