Local & Long-distance UK Removals

We have over 40 years' experience of local & national removals. From a part load of one box to a full household removal, if the move is just around the corner or from Lands End to John O'Groats, Britannia Lanes have it covered. All four depots in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset & Bristol are run by the second or third generation, making sure that we still offer that family touch.

Survey

Our pre-move surveyor will arrange to visit you at home. He will complete a comprehensive pre-move survey so that we can advise you of the most appropriate personal moving plan for you. Our quotations include our "menu" of removal services that allow you to personalise your move to your needs. We incorporate specialist packing of china and glass, packing of non-fragile effects, packing of antiques, export packing and specialist crating and handling of high value or awkward items.

For any customers looking to move into the southwest we can offer a video survey which is provided through an easy to use app on your smart phone or tablet. Not only will this save you time filling in online forms but enables us to complete an accurate survey, as if we had visited your home.

We use a modern fleet of removal vehicles and are committed to minimising our carbon footprint with the use of Low Emission engines. Our fleet comprises from small panel vans for all of those narrow lanes or small coastal and market towns, which we have, in abundance throughout the Southwest. Medium sized vans are ideal for a local family move or a down-size for retirement. If you are concerned that we won't get all of your effects on, don't worry we have this covered too by using the very large articulated vehicles. When your move is over hundreds of miles we have invested in the latest CT Box road trains. A road train can carry two interchangeable boxes, so when two depots have a move going to the same area they will travel on the one vehicle which reduces the carbon footprint of your move and at the same time it saves you money.
