The construction sector is one of the most important for the economy of any country, causing in turn a serious impact on the environment (extraction of aggregates, manufacture of cement, proliferation of dumps ...). Construction is a large consumer of non-renewable resources and an important source of construction and demolition waste (RCD's).
Most of the RCD's are not dangerous but they constitute a great problem due to their volume and final destination.
BTB's objective is to apply the appropriate environmental treatment to the RCDs, thereby allowing their subsequent reuse. To achieve this, the directives set by the European Union in this regard have been applied. BTB is an authorized manager EUX / 005/03 “Non-Hazardous Waste Manager Authorization” of the Basque Government.
