Our family business started over 17 years ago by our business minded leader Ernie Taylor. His skills and knowledge grew this company into the productive service. Like every great business Big Iron had another leading figure that grew this company as well. JR Nasworthy’s years of industry experience catapulted this business in the eyes and hearts of our community and municipalities. Big Iron is growing into its second generation and serving stronger than ever. Veteran and business leader Eric Gibson is now leading the pack with motivation and the customer’s needs at the forefront. As a whole, Big Iron Recycling is leading the way in commercial recycling.

What we buy

Our company’s focus is to serve your business. It’s our goal to make the sometimes daunting task of disposal of scrap and other non-landfill items as easy and stress free as possible. When using Big Iron for your scrap metal needs, you will have more time to focus on the more important tasks at hand. Our qualified drivers will be there when needed and on time every time.  We will deliver a roll off container to your business or worksite. When it is full, simply give us a call and we will be there to pick it up and pay for of the material in side. Big Iron is committed to recycling your material in a way that is safe and environmentally appropriate.

Our company also contracts with governmental agencies that serve both that municipality and its residences and businesses.
