Company B.I.A.P. Shpk is an initiative of a group of Italian-Albanian friends who operated in Italy and Albania in various business fields that had nothing to do with recycling.

This project has started in the spring of 2005 by studying several similar activities in Italy, Greece, etc.

The name of the company was decided after a competition between its creators and has the meaning:

The company was established after almost 2 years of studies and field observations and was registered on 28.09.2006 with decision of Tirana District Court No. 36978

by Italian-Albanian co-owners and shareholders with object of activity, import, export, collection, cleaning, processing, recycling cardboard, paper, plastic, wood, glass, iron and urban waste.

It adheres to the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Albania as its member since 09.01.07.

The company is equipped with an environmental permit from the Ministry of Environment for collection, selection, cutting of cardboard waste paper, plastic and waste export.

The Ministry of Finance has provided him with a registration certificate.

The society since its inception has set itself the objective to influence the improvement and preservation of the environment in Albania by working seriously and in close cooperation with other factors operating in this field such as the Ministry of Environment, local government bodies, etc. .

As a result of a persistent and serious work, it has enabled the conclusion of various contracts of entities operating in this field.

The motto of our society is to dispose of waste at the place of production, which means that all production or commercial units must collect recyclable waste in special places and from there we withdraw it directly without passing in waste bins.

Our company has contracts for the recycling of recyclable waste with some of the operators operating in the Albanian market.

She has started collecting paper, plastic and PET in several cities in Albania, such as: Tranë, Durrës, Berat, Vlora, Saranda, Shkodër, Fier, Lushnje, etc.

For the years 2006-2010 our company has processed recyclable waste, withdrawing mainly from Tirana for an amount of 1000 (one thousand) tons per month.

These materials after being processed and pressed have been exported mainly to Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Macedonia, Serbia to China and Indonesia.

At the end of 2008 the company decided to deepen the work in the field of recycling and in January 2009 the complete recycling plant of the factory was installed with a capacity of 1000 kg per hour enabling the complete processing of plastic waste such as PE polyethylene, PP polypropylene by fully recycling both soft plastics LDPE (greenhouse plasma, industry, bags, etc.) and high density HDPE (shampoo bottles, water bottles, basins, buckets, etc.).

In 2010 the company expanded its activity by operating mainly in the European market and already making a qualitative change.

It is not exported with only raw material but mainly finished product LDPE restranulated.

This year for the first time, we entered the European market as a manufacturer and exporter of granulate.

The surface of the company is about 8000 m2 of which 3000 m2 is covered, and in this surface is done the selection, processing, printing of cardboard, paper, plastic, PET and other materials.

In the medium and long term plans of the company is the expansion of this activity enabling the complete recycling of plastic waste and turning them into finished product and then exporting them by increasing the collection capacities in the country and increasing the production capacities with lines. new production, in order to increase production and labor which plays a crucial role in this industry.
