Bell-Camp has been Canadian Welding Bureau approved since 1988 and has continued to advance by achieving our ISO 9001-2008 registered Quality Management System in 2010. Our recent ASME 'U' Stamp authorization to manufacture Pressure Vessels. Bell-Camp is also certified to manufacture CSA B51 Pressure Vessels and CSA B31.1 & B31.3 by the TSSA in the Province of Ontario.

Bell-Camp's customers are located all over the world. We are therefore familiar with European drawings and quality standards as well as the American Welding Society D1.1 and American Petroleum Institute certifications.

Our History

Bell-Camp Manufacturing was originally founded in 1962 by Stan Campbell who named the company Bell-Camp by reversing his name. The company's core business at that time was grain and feed handling equipment. The fabricating division was established in a 7,000 sq ft building on Clarke Road, just east of Hwy 19 in Ingersoll, Ontario.

Mr. Campbell passed away in 1967, and in 1973 the company was purchased by Peter Slykerman, and three other partners. Over the next 8 to 12 years these gentleman left to pursue other interests, leaving Peter as the sole owner of Bell-Camp.

The grain and feed handling business continued to be active, and a farm equipment line was added. All this was gradually phased out as demand for fabricating for the local limestone and cement plants increased. This opened the door for other opportunities to supply steel fabrications to the automotive, aggregate, power generation, steel production and other related industries. These activities continue to the present day.

We're Growing...

The facility is still located on Clarke Road, but has grown considerably. In 2002 we added a modern paint and sandblasting facility. Our latest 7,000 sq ft addition of production space was completed in August of 2007, and brings our total production space to over 40,000 sq ft.

Our Future Looks Bright!

On August 1, 2008 Bell-Camp's ownership was transferred over to Brad Stubbe, allowing Peter to spend more time with his family as he eases into retirement. We are grateful that Peter will continue to play an important role as advisor and mentor at Bell-Camp for many more years to come. Brad will continue in Peter's footsteps to ensure that the company continues to grow and prosper today and into the future.

It's an exciting time at Bell-Camp as we hit our stride at 40+ years, and continue to keep growing!

This is a statement that no one at Bell-Camp takes lightly. Bell-Camp has met the ISO9001:2000 quality standard for the last five years. We have an in-house Quality Control Manager, two Canadian Welding Bureau Inspectors on Staff, and a great networking system for any x-ray and ultrasound testing that may be needed to meet our customers’ standards.

Quality Control Team

Every staff member at Bell-Camp is a true member of the Quality Control Team, and each project Inspection Test Plan is reviewed and written to meet the goals of our customer. These plans are implemented at the beginning of each fabrication, inspections carried out throughout, and final pictures and documents prepared for our customer as part of our final inspections. We believe that this is not just a standard we expect of ourselves, but demand of ourselves. We also believe that our quality standard is the reason that 80% of our sales are based on repeat business.
