Established in 1987, B&B Lighting Supply, Inc. is a family owned and operated business comprising two generations with over 50 years of lighting and energy experience. We have expertise in all aspects of commercial lighting and energy consulting, energy audits, lighting supplies, and onsite services. Biography

B&B Lighting Supply, Inc.'s business activities include but are not limited to the supplying of lamps, ballast, fixtures, fuses, bulbs, batteries, smoke detectors, wiring devices, exit signs, group re-lamping, and energy management. B&B Lighting Supply, Inc. also provides construction management services, construction services, and provision of professional and licensed trades personnel on a contract and subcontract basis to governments, private industry, and individuals.

B&B's business activities are oriented toward different areas:

The supplying of lamps, energy management and lighting retrofitting.

Consulting services to public and private entities in the industrial area.

Provision of institutional and commercial construction services, provision of building and systems maintenance, and emergency reconstruction services, utilizing an innovative and cost effective organization of contracted licensed subcontractors in the areas of Lighting, Electrical and General Construction.

Why Recycle!

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) classifies lamps containing mercury as universal waste, making lamp recycling mandatory in all 50 states.

A company can be fined up to $25,000 per occurrence for throwing lamps in the trash.

Mercury attacks the central nervous system, causes brain damage, and respiratory defects. It also hurts the ability of children to learn, remember and pay attention. More than 1 in 10 pregnant women are exposed to harmful levels of mercury

The EPA requires companies and organizations to properly dispose of PCB waste.

PCB Ballasts can cause gastric disorders, skin lesions and liver cancer.

The remaining parts of the ballast (mainly copper and steel) are sent for reuse in manufacturing which conserves our natural resources.

The Battery Act helps prevent batteries from being disposed of in landfills and allows the EPA to fine businesses up to $10,000 for violating the law.

At landfills, hazardous material found in batteries can leach into our groundwater and is harmful to humans and the environment.
