Barron founded Motor and Machinery Castings in Detroit and delivered parts personally to Henry Ford. In 1983, Joseph’s son Paul Barron began operating BarronCast, Inc. in Oxford, Michigan which expanded into the Barron Industries 65,000 square foot plant in 1990. Today Barron remains a Tier 1 supplier to Ford, GM and FCA, and has long-standing relationships with General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Mahle, NOV, Forum Energy, Roush, Schlumberger, Magna International, Merrill Tool, and others.

Barron Industries is a world-leading and award-winning custom manufacturer offering concept-to-completion development and production of standard to complex investment casting projects from a few ounces to 150 pounds. All capabilities including x-ray are located in one 65,000 sq. ft. building in Oxford, Michigan. High volume, low-cost production is offered through a Strategic Partnership with an investment casting and machining manufacturer in India.
