The ATO Ambiente CL1 SpA "is a joint stock company made up of 15 municipalities in the province of Caltanissetta and precisely Acquaviva Platani, Bompensiere, Caltanissetta, Campofranco, Maranopoli ,, Milena, Montedoro, Mussomeli, Resuttano, San Cataldo, Santa Caterina Villarmosa, Serradifalco , Vallelunga Pratameno, Villalba and the Regional Province of Caltanissetta , which operates in the field of municipal solid waste , established by a notary deed stipulated in Caltanissetta on December 30, 2002 in Notary Dr. Salvatore Romano, rep. No. 211,873 - Coll. n. 20.716, registered there on January 20, 2003 under no. 97, and municipal solid waste according to criteria of efficiency, effectiveness and economy in the optimal territory, in compliance with European Union directives and current national and regional regulatory provisions on waste, as well as the implementation of an integrated verification system concerning the payment of the tariff on waste and the correct management of the tariff system, including the period transition of the TARSU to the tariff, with particular reference to the elimination of evasion, in order to allow a more equitable distribution and total coverage of the costs of the integrated and integral management of the waste cycle, in compliance with current regulations.

The bodies of ATO Ambiente CL1 SpA are: the Shareholders' Meeting composed of all the Statutory Auditors of the Municipalities belonging to ATO CL1 SpA with guidance and planning tasks, the Chairman and the Board of Directors .
