Ashcraft Jewelers is a family-owned business that has been serving Muncie and East Central Indiana since 1974. Ashcraft Jewelers is a member of the American Gem Society, Jewelers of America, and Indiana Jewelers Association. We have been voted “Readers’ Choice Winner for Muncie Area’s Finest Jewelry Store” since the newspaper began this award in 2002. The store is owned by Joe Ashcraft, who is the only certified gemologist in East Central Indiana. Joe attained the degrees of Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America and Certified Gemologist from the American Gem Society.

We sell fine jewelry for women and men at affordable prices. Our store offers extensive jewelry collections from distinguished manufacturers, as well as an on-site jeweler who can create an exclusive design just for you. We specialize in ideal cut diamonds that are certified through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the American Gem Society (AGS).

Joe Ashcraft is the owner of Ashcraft Jewelers. He opened the jewelry store with his father in 1974, after completing the Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America in Los Angeles, CA. He also obtained a Certified Gemologist title from the American Gem Society. There is an annual recertification exam that must be passed to maintain this distinction. Only 20 jewelry stores in Indiana and 5% nationally, qualify for membership in this highly elite organization.

The vision of Ashcraft Jewelers is the same as the American Gem Society. It is to “create a business dedicated to setting and maintaining the highest possible standards of ethics and professionalism in the jewelry industry.” Like the American Gem Society, Ashcraft Jewelers is dedicated to ethics and consumer protection. Customer service is very important to us. We have a repair shop on our premises, so most sizing, setting, and other repairs are completed in our store. We want every customer to be satisfied with all purchases and repairs. We offer estate consignment sales and appraisal service for all jewelry items. Appraisals are done by a certified gemologist using the standards of the Gemological Institute of America.
