THE HISTORY OF ARMSTRONG PUMPING SERVICE LTD

In 1978, Brian Armstrong established Armstrong Pumping Service Ltd. While working part-time at CP Rail in Smiths Falls, he purchased his first truck. With his wife, Margo, and their two children by his side, Brian slowly grew his business into a full-time job.

In the beginning, Brian started off with septic tanks, holding tanks, and campground services. During this time, he decided to get into portable toilets by building his first ones out of wood. Later on, he went on to purchase more modern style portable toilets with all the luxuries of a home.

THE EVOLUTION OF OUR FAMILY BUSINESS

Now, his son Randy has come into the business full-time, working alongside his father Brian. For the past 20 years, Randy was a licensed plumber and sheet metal worker. He is the proud father of three young sons and he hopes that one day, they will be able to mirror what he's been able to do with his own father and continue to carry on the torch at Armstrong Pumping Service Ltd.
