The material delivered in rubble dumps is sorted in an ecological manner at AREC and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
The facility is only 4.5 km from Bern main station , we are THE address for construction site waste from the city and region of Bern.
In the acceptance office, the deliveries are recorded using EDP.
The troughs are tipped on the large, roofed pre-sorting area. The rough sorting is carried out by means of a hydraulic excavator. Inert material, metal, green waste and waste are loaded directly into strategically placed large containers.
The remainder, which cannot be pre-sorted, is fed to the infeed belt for mechanical fine sorting with a grab excavator. The material reaches the sieve drum via the ascending belt, which is divided into three sieve stages: 0-70mm, 70-140mm and above.
The clean fractions are conveyed into the various boxes via conveyor belts. The secondary building materials obtained in this way are reused as a substitute for gravel, depending on the quality and structural requirements.
The delivered waste wood is processed into fine grain by means of a high-performance chipping system. One part is used for the combustion in the own chip heater, the other part for the production of chipboard.
