With almost 70,000 feet under roof, open die forgings are produced with the following equipment: One 2500 ton Hydraulic forging press, Three steam driven hammers (6000, 4000, 3500) , two radial ring rollers (150 ton and 300 ton) with capabilties from 1 to 20,000 pounds in stainless, nickel based, (high temperature), tool steel, carbon, alloy, aluminum and titanium. Anderson Shumaker can produce shapes that include: rings, bars (round, square, flat and hex), discs, blocks and step down shafts or hubs.
In addition to forging, secondary processing include: heat treating, rough machining, saw cutting, hole boring, destructive and nondestructive testing Finish machining also available.
