We are a family-owned business in operation since 1959, located on 38 acres one mile east of Highway 85 on 8th Street in Greeley, Colorado.

What We Recycle

We recycle scrap iron, vehicles, farm equipment, copper, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, lead, radiators, lead/acid core batteries, household appliances (fridges must be drained of freon), aluminum cans, and catalytic converters.

U-Pull-It Yard

We also have a U-Pull-It Yard, where you can pull your own parts from a wide selection of non-inventoried vehicles.

History

Andersen's Sales & Salvage, Inc. began in 1959 as a small auto salvage business on this current location in Greeley, Colorado. The decades of the 70s and 80s brought expansion to a late-model full-service salvage yard.

With our first shredder installation in 1995, Andersen's began the transition to a full-service scrap yard and a self-service auto parts yard.

The current shredder, commissioned in 2008, brings Andersen's into the premier auto-shredding industry, with complete ferrous and non-ferrous production lines.

Additional installations of sorting equipment, including the patented IQASR air separation system, allow Andersen's to process fully and recycle metals that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
