Founded in September 2016 by James Glass and Denny Rohrer,  American Metal Works’s CNC manufacturing plant is located in the Mayo Campus of the Big Sandy Community & Technical College in Paintsville, Kentucky. Though a start-up company,  the manpower behind AMW has over 75 years of experience in various industries including coal mining, natural gas drilling, and CNC manufacturing. AMW’s focus is on being an Appalachian-based firm that creates jobs for the region, as well as creating custom parts through the usage of precision and CNC machining to satisfy even the most difficult customer requirements.
