Alumet Supply is a division of Unimet Metal Supply, Inc.—a privately held metal service center company specializing in copper, brass and stainless steel. Unimet has been in operation since 1989.

Alumet Supply distributes metals and provides value-added processing. We stock an inventory of metals products that surpasses that of our competitors in both variety and quantity. We offer cut-to-length, slitting, blanking and shearing. We are well known for providing customers with custom colors, sizes, gauges, and more.

Products

Painted Aluminum

Alumet Supply is well-known for its extensive color selection for polyester painted aluminum. There are stock colors for every industry including the Sign & Graphics industry, the Transportation industry, and the Architectural & Roofing industry. Alumet Supply provides color matching as well as custom and corporate identity colors.

Anodized Aluminum

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into an anodic oxide finish. Anodized Aluminum is corrosion and abrasion resistant. In addition, anodized aluminum does not fade, chip, peel or flake. It is also fingerprint-resistant. Anodized aluminum is strong and durable-sometimes even more so than metals such as stainless and copper. Anodized aluminum is beautiful and decorative. We carry a variety of colors and finishes. Colors include clear, bronze, gold, and copper anodized. Finishes include satin, bright, and brushed.

Mill Finish Aluminum

Alumet Supply stocks a complete inventory of mill finish sheet and coil. Mill finish aluminum is the natural appearance of aluminum as it comes from the rolling mill.

Compbond Aluminum Composite Panels

Alumet Compbond ACM panels are composed of a thermoplastic core of low density polyethylene, bonded to two sheets of aluminum using a sophisticated bonding process involving chemical adhesives and high temperatures. The painted surface of the aluminum sheet is coated with a wax-free high-performance polyester coating. The painted surface is protected with a removable masking to prevent scratching.

Sign Blanks

Alumet Supply stocks more colors and finishes in channel letter coil than any of its competitors. We also carry a variety of standard channel letter coil sizes. We have the capability of producing channel letter coils with custom sizes and colors as well.

Aluminum Diamond Tread Plate

Aluminum diamond plate is strong and lightweight.  It is also corrosion-resistant and moisture-resistant, making it great for outdoor or indoor use. The diamond plate has a beautiful pattern that is slip-resistant and provides great traction. Aluminum diamond plate has the raised diamond pattern on one side and the reverse side is smooth.

Truck Trailer Panels & Roof Coil

Alumet Supply provides full-hard white aluminum sheets for trailers, also known as aluminum side panels.  These aluminum sheets are painted white on one side and have a wash coat on the reverse side.

Embossed Aluminum

Alumet Supply stocks both stucco and tread embossed aluminum. Alumet Supply also offers additional embossed patterns in customer’s choice of aluminum or stainless steel. Customers also have the option of requesting embossed aluminum with a custom color or finish.

Pretreat Aluminum

A special formulated coil process that leaves both sides of the aluminum sheet free from all contaminants and ready to apply a paint coating or decoration.

PVDF Painted Steel

Alumet Supply offers 24-gauge steel with a high quality exterior-grade PVDF finish. Alumet Supply’s PVDF paint system carries a 20-year warranty and has remarkable resistance to exterior weathering, fading, color change, crackling and chalking. This product is also excellent for fabrication (ex: forming, bending, etc.) because the coating is both tough and flexible. Alumet Supply carries PVDF-coated steel in a wide range of colors. If we do not stock a color that works with your project, we can offer custom colors, including metallic and exotic finishes.

Stainless Steel

We carry common alloys in many different finishes. If you are looking for a special stainless steel product, we will use our broad base of mill resources to get you the product you need.

Copper

Alumet Supply has a diverse selection of copper products. We carry classic copper products, such as copper roofing sheet, copper coil, flashing rolls and gutter coil. We also have more specialty products, like FreedomGray. If you are looking for a copper product that we do not currently stock, we have the ability to source any copper product in the industry.
