Alpine Recovery and Recycling

In our facility, which has an area of 1,500 m2 in Corlu Leather Specialization and Mixed Organized Industrial Zone, and which operates as linked to the central treatment system, and which is equipped with high technology, we recycle your packaging waste, which is generated from your production or sales activities within your enterprise, and which is contaminated with any hazardous waste. Any and all types of sheet metal drums, plastic drums and IBCs are primarily sorted based on their types at Alp Geri Donusum facilities, and they are subsequently included in the recycling line, and they are separated from their contaminated feature, and they are made available to the industry again.

Any worn packaging waste, which is not suitable for reuse, are broken into the small pieces. Such parts can be used directly by the plastics companies with respect to the production works by being mixed with the original raw material in certain proportions, and also they can be used as a second class raw material by re-melting the same and by adding additives thereto. As a result of recycling one ton of plastic waste, 14,000 Kwh energy is saved.

Any packaging waste that is contaminated with any hazardous waste, as covered by the "Regulation on Control of Hazardous Wastes", are brought to our facility by means of our vehicles licensed for transportation of hazardous wastes in accordance with the provisions as prescribed under the regulation, through the MOTAT system in connection to the Integrated Environmental Information System as declared by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.

In parallel with an agreement to be executed with the enterprises, any used sheet metal and plastic drums, barrels, IBCs are collected from their locations by means of our licensed vehicles through the MOTAT system, and they are stored in an appropriate manner, and they are subjected to the recycling processes under our license granted by the ministry.

Before the agreement, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) information about and documentation for the materials discharged from the packaging wastes are requested from the enterprises, and the wastes are accepted in case of no sign in breach of the recovery / recycling of the packaging wastes; otherwise, the waste producer is informed that they are required to be sent to the disposal facilities.

The inventory forms, which are prepared through the MOTAT system as declared by the Ministry, and which are issued along with the copies of the waybill and invoice each month, are submitted to the relevant units of the ministry by us as an attachment.
